Employee evaluations provide a structured opportunity for employees and supervisors to discuss performance, establish clear expectations and goals, recognize accomplishments, and identify opportunities for growth and development.
The evaluation process includes formal check-ins at the beginning, middle, and end of the evaluation period, with regular informal check-ins encouraged throughout the year to promote ongoing communication and meaningful feedback.
Employees initiate the evaluation process through the Kuali evaluation form. The evaluation process supports Badger 140 and Snow College’s commitment to operational excellence by strengthening employee development, encouraging meaningful feedback, reinforcing clear expectations and accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Supervisors are encouraged to work closely with Human Resources when considering or implementing a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). HR can provide guidance throughout the process to help ensure expectations are clearly defined, appropriate documentation is in place, and the plan is applied consistently and effectively.
