Tim Chamberlain

 

Prior to becoming the director of the Utah SBDC at Snow College, Tim Chamberlain worked as the assistant director of SBDC in Blanding Utah.

Tim has spent the past eight years consulting and working with individuals and small businesses in rural Utah. He has a sound understanding of planning, management, marketing, communications and negotiations. He has been successful in creating and hosting business expos, bringing the specific needs of local business to the area. He has served on many Economic Committee’s and Chamber Boards in rural Utah.

Tim has successfully run and operated several small business beginning as early as high school. In pursuit of these endeavors, he has served his community members as a charter member of the Rotary Club and served as president twice.

Chamberlain first received his Associate degree from the College of Eastern Utah. Later, he attended Utah State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology. From there he completed his Master’s degree at Huntsman’s School of Business from the University of Utah in Human Resources. Since this point he has worked closely with business to help them to see their potential and guide them on their way to fulfilling their dreams.

Tim is a Gallup Strength Finders certified coach. This allows him to help individuals understand their strengths so they can develop and use their own natural talents to build and run their businesses.  If done on a company level, this helps companies to better utilize their employees’ strengths.

Tim is a certified business analyst through the Utah SBDC.

Chamberlain also oversees Central Utah’s Custom Fit Training program, which assists area businesses in securing training and education solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of their workforce.
