Orchestra of Central Utah
Join the Snow College Symphony Orchestra
Snow College invites members of the community to rehearse and perform with the Symphony Orchestra to create the Orchestra of Central Utah. This initiative creates a collaborative ensemble that brings together students, educators, and experienced musicians from across Central Utah.

Rehearsal Schedule
- Thursdays: 5:30–7:20 PM (Room M140)
- Mondays: 2:30–4:20 PM (Snow College students only)
Participation Requirements
Community members interested in joining the orchestra must:
- Audition or receive approval from the Music Director
- Commit to rehearsal attendance, participating in at least 8 out of 10 rehearsals
- Fall semester schedule: September 10 – November 13, 2026
- Dress rehearsal: Thursday, November 12, 2026
- Understand that placement is based on availability within each section
- High school students must also be enrolled in and perform with their school orchestra program (Homeschool student participation will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Seating & Ensemble Structure
As the orchestra expands to include professional and semi-professional musicians, seating will be determined by merit and experience to ensure a high-quality ensemble.
