Utah Resident Academic Scholarship requirements

NOTE: While you may qualify for an academic scholarship, these scholarships are awarded based on available funds. We encourage students to apply and complete the requirements as early as possible.

These scholarships are WAIVERS, not cash awards.

If you are awarded a Utah Resident Academic Scholarship, you will receive an email with a copy of your scholarship contract. To accept your scholarship, you must log in to the student portal at my.snow.edu and complete the acceptance process. By accepting the scholarship, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in your scholarship contract. You are responsible for meeting all scholarship requirements to maintain your eligibility.

Deferment / Leave of Absence

If you take a leave of absence for church or military service, maternity leave, or medical or personal reasons, you may be eligible to defer your remaining scholarship award. To retain your scholarship, you must submit a leave of absence form and supporting documentation before your leave begins. Utah Resident Academic Scholarships are typically the only deferrable scholarships. Contact the Scholarship Office to confirm eligibility. Departmental scholarship recipients must contact their department upon returning and reapply by March 1.

We have some exciting news that we hope will simplify the college application process and provide a seamless transition for you as a concurrent enrollment student at Snow College. This new process will allow us to grant you automatic admission to our campus for Fall 2026. Here is what you need to know:

  • You do NOT need to complete the BadgerTracks application process.
  • Beginning September 11th, the admission team will begin the process of switching your status from Concurrent Enrollment to New Freshman.
  • The admission counselor for your high school will gather the documentation needed to complete this transition.
  • You will receive an admission packet in the mail when the process is complete.
  • You will automatically be considered for academic scholarships, which includes the BadgerTracks scholarship.
  • This new process will still allow you to take concurrent enrollment classes until you have graduated high school.

You can also track your progress toward your academic goal by using BadgerPath. Log into BadgerWeb and look for BadgerPath in the Student tab.

BadgerTracks Scholarship Requirements

Students who have completed at least 12 credit hours of Snow College Concurrent Enrollment work by the time they graduate with a 3.0 GPA or higher in their Snow courses may benefit from receiving a $500 per semester scholarship (approximately one-third of a semester's tuition). No application is needed for this scholarship to qualify as long as you meet the requirements and funding is available.

  3. Students who have taken a mix of IVC Concurrent Enrollment from Snow College and Snow sponsored face-to-face courses, including on the Richfield or Ephraim campus, would be eligible for the waiver as well.
  4. The BadgerTracks scholarship is an academic award. If a student receives a different academic award, they should choose the one they believe offers the highest value and benefit. Refer to the BadgerTracks Scholarship FAQs for details.
